Blackberry Balsamic Vinegar

All balsamic vinegars start with a base of wine grapes, and ours is no different. The highest quality Zinfandel grapes from Napa Valley are the starting point for our Grove Provisions blackberry variety. This recipe is rich, smooth and worthy of any summer salad. Organic blackberries are grown, harvested, and placed in vats alongside an organic vinegar to create this distinct variety. 

Unlike some balsamic vinegars that are thick and cloyingly sweet, our Blackberry Balsamic is light without compromising flavor. Try it with local strawberries, a fresh spinach salad, or make a reduction for ice cream drizzling. In an effort to expand our traditional uses of balsamic vinegar, we discovered the uniqueness it adds to cocktails in this blackberry shrub. Pour over ice, tequila and top with a sparkling lemonade!
